Lyfe Cycle Assessment for Energy Efficiency in Buildings.

Nature of the project

The aim of the project is to foster sustainability in the construction and rehabilitation of buildings, whether they are for housing, tertiary or industrial use. To do so, the development of a tool destined to carrying out a life cycle analysis of existing or newly-built buildings is proposed, enabling the identification of the best solutions in terms of energy efficiency and respect for the environment, thus reducing the direct and indirect energy impacts of the buildings.

The role of Repcon

Development of free software accessible online which enables, by entering basic information of a complete building or a constructive solution, the calculation of the primary energy and the carbon footprint associated with the stages of production, construction and use of a new or rehabilitated building.
