Service Oriented Device and Delivery Architecture.

Nature of the project

The SODA project offers an SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) ecosystem for devices, which is complete, scalable and easy to implement, based on popular standards within the industry, and neutral regarding the platform, language and network, valid for a wide variety of devices, with applications in industrial automation, automotive electronics, household and construction automation, telecommunications, medical devices, etc. A project subsidised within the ITEA programme (European Union).

The role of Repcon

• Definition of the SODA ontological framework: processes + industrial maintenance + demonstrators of the use case of the Spanish consortium.
• A software tool to support the definition and exploitation of the above-mentioned ontologies, with exportation of the result to XML-OWL.
